Moonlight Miller – Late scratching at 10.36am when when Trainer - Mr. M. Lanigan reported the greyhound to be ill (GAR 76). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 19(3)(w) before any future nominations will be accepted.

Pursuant to GAR 75(6), club official Mr S. Boag did not act in any official capacity that may have in any way affected the outcome of this event.

Lose My Number was quick to begin. Rugrat Tommy and Deal Breaker were slow to begin.

Paw Kestell, Aston Betty and Blue Sambucaa were slow to begin.

It was noted that the muzzle on Aston Betty became partially dislodged during the running of the event.

Blue Sambuca (severely checked on the first turn and lost ground), underwent a post-race veterinary examinaton.  It was reported that the greyhound was found to be injured in the right long head triceps muscle.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre-race urine sample was taken from Squeegee's Ride.

Groovin' was slow to begin.

Move Of Maagnus and Nailed It were quick to begin.  Daphnee's Gold and Dookie Giblet were slow to begin.

Dookie Giblet (lost ground on the first turn), underwent a post-race veterinary examination.  It was reported that the greyhound was found to be injured in the left gracilis muscle.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Simon Spray was quick to begin.  Norse Queen and Gold Gizmo were slow to begin.

A pre-race urine sample was taken from Kirwan.

Tasman Hope was quick to begin. James's Entity and He Man were slow to begin.

Stewards spoke to Trainer, Ms. K Norton, regarding the boxing behaviour of Tasman Hope.  Stewards took no action in the matter, however, will monitor the greyhound's boxing behaviour  in future starts.  Stewards noted Tasman Hope has a Box First endorsement which was issued at Healesville on 9 September, 2024.

James's Entity (severely checked on the first turn, fell and completed the course) underwent a post–race veterinary examination - no injury apparent.  

Velox Bale – Late scratching at 1.31pm due to the greyhound being on season GAR 77. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Urano Bale, Flying Bessie and Mr. Ha Ha were quick to begin.

Pretty Panama was quick to begin. Ablett Flyer was slow to begin.

Jazzy Hope and Sabatini were quick to begin.  Sell your Soul was slow to begin.

Timmy Time (checked on the first turn and lost ground), underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no injury apparent.

It was noted that the muzzle on Timmy Time became partially dislodged during the running of the event.

A pre-race urine sample was taken from Bronze.

Kayden's Cuddles was quick to begin.  Hillbilly Nova and Bronze were slow to begin.

Aston Allure was quick to begin. Lyon Bale and Hold Me Closer were slow to begin.

Aston Allure (led to the second turn and lost considerable ground), underwent a post-race veterinary examination.  It was reported that the greyhound was found to have a carpal sprain.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Paldron Bale (racing manners approaching the finishing line), underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no injury apparent.  Stewards spoke to Representative - Mr. A Onley regarding the racing manners of Paldron Bale approaching the finishing line.  After hearing submissions from Mr. Onley, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, the Stewards issued a warning to connections.

A pre-race urine sample was taken from Hurricane Mist.

Lyrical Cripps and Yarrell Bale were slow to begin.

Hard Rotor (severely checked on the first turn, fell and completed the course) underwent a post–race veterinary examination - no injury apparent.

Lyrical Cripps (faltered on the home turn), underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the long head triceps muscle.  A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Burn Around and Zero Monster were slow to begin.

Snowy's Sister (checked turning off the back straight), underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the right gracilis muscle, right tensor facia lata muscle, right carpal, left flexor tendon and left long head triceps muscle.  A 60 day stand down period was imposed.

Take A Shine (checked and lost ground in the back straight), underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left gracilis muscle injury.  A 60 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre-race urine sample was taken from That's A Boodie.

Here For Glory was quick to begin. Pyrenees Blazer and That's A Boodie were slow to begin.

Hillbilly Joker (checked and lost ground approaching the first turn), underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the right gracilis muscle, right tensor fascia lata muscle, right biceps brachii and right pectoral muscle.  A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
