Steward's Report
Miss Galore, Shaun Lee Rose and Cuban Lad were slow to begin.
Barkly Street underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have sand toe on the right fore. No stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to representative Mr. Tony Cortese regarding the racing manners of Barkly Street turning off the back straight. After hearing submissions from Mr. Cortese, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, a warning was issued. Pursuant to GAR 122, the Stewards requested Mr. Cortese to report as soon as practicable anything that may have affected the running of Barkly Street in the event, which was not noted by Stewards during or immediately after the event.
