Aston Richie underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Ms. Lyn Smith regarding the racing manners of Aston Richie in the home straight. After hearing submissions from Ms. Smith, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, a warning was issued.
Due to a malfunction with the timing equipment, an incorrect time of 19.656 was initially displayed.
Supplementary Advice 13/12/24 - The event was subsequently hand-timed. The times recorded for all greyhounds are hand timed. No sectional times were recorded.
