Pursuant to GAR 104(7) steward G Truett did not act in any official capacity for this event.
Escapade Jess, Conclude, Reen's Prince and Ice Toronado collided soon after the start. Escapade Jess, Ice Toronado and Banga Speed collided on the first turn, checking Escapade Jess, Ice Toronado, Banga Speed and Survivor Sal. Banga Speed checked off Conclude in the back straight.
Banga Speed was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Stewards spoke to T Cortese, the handler of the greyhound Banga Speed. Stewards deemed the performancce of Banga Speed unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Banga Speed must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
