Cee Cee's Legacy was quick to begin.  What's Chewing was slow to begin.  What's Chewing clipped the heels of Sunday Shoes approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds.  What's Chewing, Vernon Bale, Tekki Minx, Cee Cee's Legacy and Eyeful Of Bling collided on the first turn checking Vernon Bale and Tekki Minx, severely checking Eyeful Of Bling causing Cee Cee's Legacy to fall.

Cee Cee's Legacy was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Eyeful Of Bling was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained grazes to the left metatarsal, no stand down period was imposed.

Loose Affair and Lektra Concord were quick to begin.  Daimyo and Master Tron were slow to begin.  Master Tron checked off Loose Affair approaching the first turn.  Loose Affair, Splash Mountain, Broadway Miss and Shared Bonus collided on the first turn checking Splash Mountain, Broadway Miss and Shared Bonus, severely checking Master Tron and Johnny Mobster.  Daimyo and Splash Mountain collided on the second turn checking Splash Mountain.  Splash Mountain checked off Daimyo in the back straight.  Master Tron checked off Splash Mountain approaching the third turn.  Splash Mountain and Broadway Miss collided on the home turn checking Broadway Miss.

Go Jetta Go checked off Lites And Sirens soon after the start.  Mepunga Tiara, Double Rinse and Becci Leone collided soon after the start checking Double Rinse and Becci Leone.  Go Jetta Go checked off Lites And Sirens on the first turn.  Go Jetta Go clipped the heels of Lites And Sirens approaching the second turn, severely checking Go Jetta Go which stumbled and tailed off as a result.  Becci Leone and Lites And Sirens collided on the third turn.  Big Kat and Footluce Diva collided entering the home straight checking Footluce Diva.

Go Jetta Go was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the left hind paw and grazes to the left wrist, no stand down period was imposed.

Rockin' Josie was a late scratching at 3:20pm due to injury.

Supersonic Hawk and Shanlyn Patch were quick to begin.  Money Come Back, Dewana Babe, Full On Bling, Shanlyn Patch and Coulta Rock collided on the first turn checking Full On Bling, Shanlyn Patch and Coulta Rock.  Full On Bling and Coulta Rock collided entering the front straight.  Full On Bling checked off Coulta Rock approaching the second turn.  Supersonic Hawk and Coulta Rock collided on the second turn checking Supersonic Hawk.  Full On Bling and Shanlyn Patch collided on the home turn.

Jubilea Bale was a late scratching at 3:34pm by Order Of Stewards.

Greyhound Racing Victoria (GRV) Stewards were notified by Racing Analytical Services Limited today (5 February 2015) that a post race urine sample taken from the greyhound Jubilea Bale at Warragul GRC meeting conducted on 17 January 2015 was shown to contain the Permanently Banned Prohibited Substances Amphetamine, Methamphetamine and its metabolites.

Acting in accordance with Greyhounds Australasia Rule (GAR) 79A(3)(a) the greyhound was withdrawn from tonight’s event and pursuant to GAR 79A(3)(b), the greyhound shall be ineligible to be nominated for any further event until such time a sample taken from the greyhound does not breach GAR 79A.

As per normal procedure the greyhound’s Trainer Ms. J. Hunt was advised of these findings at a kennel inspection at her properties today (5 February 2015). The reserve and control samples are yet to be analysed and Ms Hunt was advised of her right to have this performed in the presence of an independent approved analyst nominated by her at Racing Analytical Services Limited.
