D. Good, trainer of Ty's Little Lad redeclared a new weight of 31.5kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Ty's Little Lad last raced at 32.9kg.
Cobalt Kaos, Staggerlicious and Roxy's A Rebel collided soon after the start checking Roxy's A Rebel. High Alimony, Cobalt Kaos, Staggerlicious, Elite Tulip and Carrara Lad collided approaching the first turn checking Cobalt Kaos, Staggerlicious and Elite Tulip. Cobalt Kaos checked off Carrara Lad on the first turn. Roxy's A Rebel and Elite Tulip collided approaching the home turn. Ty's Little Lad faltered approaching the home turn and again on the home turn. Cobalt Kaos and Ty's Little Lad raced wide in the home straight.
Ty's Little Lad was vetted following the event and after being re-vetted following event 12, it was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to its right thigh and right hock. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
