Limitless Skye and Baroness Jill were slow to begin.  Lizzibee and Boom Boucheau collided approaching the first turn checking Lizzibee.  Lizzibee, Lektra Star and Baroness Jill collided on the first turn checking Lektra Star.  Our Numbered and Lizzibee collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn.

All Prancer crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Flashing Billy, Cosmic Creation and El Huracan.  Flashing Billy and Cosmic Creation collided on the first turn.  All Prancer, Hoopla Doopla, Fearful Amy and Love Me To collided on the first turn checking Love Me To, Fearful Amy, Cosmic Creation and El Huracan and severely checking Hoopla Doopla.  Cosmic Creation and Fearful Amy collided entering the back straight checking Fearful Amy.  Hoopla Doopla and Cosmic Creation collided on the second turn checking Hoopla Doopla.  Love Me To raced wide on the home turn and again in the home straight.

Stewards spoke to Mr. D. Field regarding the direction that the greyhound Flashing Billy be boxed first.  Acting under GAR 52(2) Stewards directed that this box first be removed.

Hoopla Doopla was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its left shoulder.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Hoi Polloi was slow to begin.  Honey Girl and Dortmunder collided soon after the start.  Black Ops, Hoi Polloi, Kilty Miss and Highfield Maddie collided approaching the first turn checking Hoi Polloi and severely checking Black Ops.  Honey Girl checked off Come On Lassy approaching the home turn.  Honey Girl and Immeasurable collided on the home turn.

Black Ops was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a torn left fore stopper.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Valletta Knight was slow to begin.  Don't Paws checked off Nikki Cee approaching the first turn.  Don't Paws and Herodium collided on the first turn checking Don't Paws.  Herodium and Nikki Cee collided approaching the home turn checking Herodium and Valletta Knight.  Herodium and King Odessa collided approaching the home turn checking King Odessa.

Barn A Shakin was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to its right thigh and right wrist.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Prancing Lad was slow to begin.  Conclude, Chief Tyson, Wally Matuszek, Mantaray Lad, Grand Jet, Crowdza Talking and Fiery Fox collided on the first turn checking Mantaray Lad, Chief Tyson, Wally Matuszek, Fiery Fox and Grand Jet.  Chief Tyson, Grand Jet and Mantaray Lad collided entering the back straight checking Mantaray Lad.  Mantaray Lad and Grand Jet collided on the second turn checking Grand Jet.

Grand Jet was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its left shoulder.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

A sample was taken from Conclude, the winner of the event.

A. Stewart, trainer of Tackifire, redeclared a new weight of 32.2kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Tackifire last raced at 31.1kg.

Plum Star was a late scratching at 1:55pm on the advice of the Club's Veterinary Surgeon due to a broken toenail on its left fore foot.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre-race sample was taken from Bush Caviar.

Cobalt Kaos, Staggerlicious and Roxy's A Rebel collided soon after the start checking Roxy's A Rebel.  High Alimony, Cobalt Kaos, Staggerlicious, Elite Tulip and Carrara Lad collided approaching the first turn checking Cobalt Kaos, Staggerlicious and Elite Tulip.  Cobalt Kaos checked off Carrara Lad on the first turn.  Roxy's A Rebel and Elite Tulip collided approaching the home turn.  Ty's Little Lad faltered approaching the home turn and again on the home turn.  Cobalt Kaos and Ty's Little Lad raced wide in the home straight.

Ty's Little Lad was vetted following the event and after being re-vetted following event 12, it was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to its right thigh and right hock.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Classic Caper was slow to begin.  Lektra Lois, Miss Belena and Typhoon Blake collided soon after the start checking Typhoon Blake.  Classic Caper, Lektra Lois and Miss Belena collided approaching the first turn checking Lektra Lois and Miss Belena.  Lektra Lois checked off Miss Belena on the first turn.  Typhoon Blake checked off Tiny Profit approaching the home turn.  Classic Caper and Miss Belena collided approaching the home turn checking Miss Belena.  Typhoon Blake raced wide on the home turn.
