Renee Kenyon requested an early race endorsement for Blackpool Viper. Stewards approved the request after an extensive examination prior to racing by the On–Track Veterinarian. Blackpool Viper will compete in early races until further notice.
She Devil was quick to begin. Theegala was slow to begin.
A post-race urine sample was taken from Theegala - placed seventh in the event.
General Winston underwent a post–race veterinary examination at the trainer’s request and was found to have a dislocated toe. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
Theegala, racing action home straight and underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.
Acting in accordance with GAR 130, Theegala was found to have cramped in running and was ordered to undertake a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 130, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
