Got My Mojo was quick to begin. Go See Ian and Tiles And Wine were slow to begin.

Go See Ian, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hindleg triangle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to representative Mr. Lindsay Fulford regarding the racing manners of Go See Ian in the home straight. After hearing submissions from Mr. Fulford, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, a warning was issued. 

Key Pilars lost ground on the first turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hindleg triangle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to kennel representive Ms. Claire Jones regarding Key Pilars overall performance in the event. Pursuant to GAR 122, the Stewards requested Ms. Jones to report as soon as practicable anything that may have affected the running of Key Pillars in the event, which was not noted by Stewards during or immediately after the event.

Prior to the running of this event, Stewards inspected the track and deemed it suitable for racing.

Inter Mary lost ground in the back straight, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was re–examined following Race 6 – no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Ms Victoria Sultana regarding Inter Mary’s performance in the event. After hearing submissions from Ms. Sultana, viewing the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards deemed the performance of Inter Mary unsatisfactory. Inter Mary must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 129, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Black Prestige was slow to begin.

Don't Ignore Me and Lakeview Dozer wer quick to begin.

Aussie Can Fly, stumbled in the back straight and home straight underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was re–examined following Race 12 and was found to have a left hindleg thigh injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr Peter Mckenzie regarding Aussie Can Fly overall performance in the event.  Pursuant to GAR 122, the Stewards requested Mr. Mckenzie to report as soon as practicable anything that may have affected the running of Aussie Can Fly in the event, which was not noted by Stewards during or immediately after the event. Furthermore Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 19(3)(w) before any future nominations will be accepted.

 A post–race urine sample was taken from Paw Cheyenne – placed second in the event. 

Oh My Pie was slow to begin.

Bit Cool was severely checked entering the back straight and subsequently tailed off, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left foreleg stopper and long head triceps injury. A 21 day stand down period was imposed. 

Madalia zoom and Be A Character were quick to begin.

Stewards conferred with the judges regarding the margin and finishing times for third and fourth between Atticus Bale and Internal Affairs. A margin was visible in the photo finish image with the actual finishing time for Atticus Bale 28.9211 compared to 28.9220 for Internal Affairs. However, as FastTrack is limited to displaying three decimal places, both times were automatically rounded to 28.922, and as such no margin is displayed in FastTrack.
