A urine sample was taken from Here's Bruce upon arrival at the course.
Due to Warrnambool being abandoned, the time for this event was rescheduled to 5:00pm.
A pre race urine sample was taken from Breakdown.
Had A Mischief was slow to begin.
Spicy Minx (galloped on and subsequently lost ground on the first turn) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have abrasions to the right fore paw. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.
Frankly Fever (contacted the running rail on the first turn) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have lacerations to the left eye and stifle. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
