Mr K. Quinn trainer of Kilty Miss redeclared a new weight of 26.4kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Kilty Miss last raced at 25.2kg.

Need's Luck, Kilty Miss, Ela Mimi, Few Screws Loose and Arvo's Leroy were slow to begin. Few Screws Loose and Arvo's Leroy collided soon after the start, checking Few Screws Loose. Few Screws Loose checked off Ela Mimi approaching the home turn.

Red Flynn slipped its collar whilst parading after the event and needed to be re-secured. Stewards spoke to Mr E. McCormick, trainer of Red Flynn, and reminded him of his responsibilities, namely the need to ensure the collar is secured firmly whilst parading.

Mr. C. Kas, trainer of Show Dawn redeclared a new weight of 26.3kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Show Dawn last raced at 25.0kg.

Ravenwood, Bands Of Gold, Show Dawn and Arvo's Leo were slow to begin. Show Dawn checked off Bands Of Gold soon after the start and fell as a result. Champagne Belle checked off Maybe Could Be approaching the home turn, checking Arvo's Leo.

Show Dawn was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Somebody's Image was quick to begin. Escapist, Lord George, Read About Me and Kimanator were slow to begin. Read About Me checked off Somebody's Image on the first turn, severely checking Somebody's Image which lost ground as a result. Perry White faltered on the third turn and tired in the home straight.

Somebody's Image was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness to the left triangle muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Perry White was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained cramping, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr G. Bartlett, the trainer of the greyhound Perry White. Acting in accordance with GAR71 (Cramp), Stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial before any future nomination will be accepted.

Delvin Flash, Peggy Sable and Hold On Nitro were slow to begin. David Ducal was very slow to begin (3 lengths). Delvin Flash and Peggy Sable collided soon after the start. Delvin Flash and Baby's Rattle collided approaching the first turn. Magic Max checked off Delvin Flash approaching the first turn. Baby's Rattle and Peggy Sable collided on the first turn, checking Peggy Sable which raced wide as a result. Enduro Miss and David Ducal collided on the first turn, checking David Ducal. Delvin Flash checked off Magic Miss entering the home straight. 

Stewards spoke and issued a warning to Mr S. Richer, the handler of David Ducal, regarding his late arrival to the kennels to prepare the greyhound for racing.

Kiria Lason, Lacka Detail and Zatrite were slow to begin. Onyx Black, Man Talk and Kiria Lason collided approaching the first turn. Ima Goodin raced wide on the second turn and again in the back straight. Onyx Black faltered and pulled up in the back straight. Ima Goodin checked off Zatrite on the third turn.

Onyx Black was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fractured right hock and was humanely euthanised.

She's Exciting, Lone Survivor and Countess Juanita were slow to begin. She's Exciting checked off Flywheel Special on the third turn. Flywheel Special and Countess Juanita collided on the home turn. Betty Armagh and David Best collided on the home turn. Flywheel Special and She's Exciting collided in the home straight.

A sample was taken from Playing Tough - winner of the event.

Symmetry Lad, Night Fighter, Whatta Joke and Buckle Up Lara were slow to begin. Crosscheck and Symmetry Lad collided soon after the start. Whatta Joke checked off Night Fighter soon after the start and fell as a result. Absinth Shot faltered approaching the first turn and lost ground as a result. Crosscheck and Buckle Up Lara collided approaching the home turn.

Absinth Shot was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness to the right triangle muscle, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Whatta Joke was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness to the back muscle, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Survivor Sal, Henry Garth and Midnight Reign were slow to begin. Midnight Reign crossed to the inside soon after the start, checking Jane Eliza, Henry Garth and Tigee. Henry Garth checked off Tigee approaching the first turn. Jane Eliza, Midnight Reign and Tigee collided approaching the first turn, checking all three greyhounds. Survivor Sal and Jane Eliza collided on the first turn, checking Jane Eliza. Daintree Sugar and Henry Garth collided on the first turn. Henry Garth checked off Jane Eliza approaching the second turn. Tigee and Jane Eliza collided in the home straight, checking Tigee.

The Club Veterinary Surgeon examined Two For Twelve and no illness was detected. The greyhound was a late scratching at 5.30pm due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer B. Groom was fined the sum of $100.

Jayded Crisis was slow to begin. Purple Flynn and Kobe's Hand collided soon after the start. Mr Crumpet, Purple Flynn and Kobe's Hand collided approaching the first turn, checking all three greyhounds. Plea For Beer and Miss Cloud Nine collided on the home turn and again in the home straight.

Lukey Parker and Billy's On Fire were slow to begin. Red Kali and Joe Handson collided approaching the first turn. Aristos and Bells Hustler collided approaching the first turn, checking Bells Hustler which lost ground as a result. Lukey Parker and Bella Sprinter collided approaching the home turn, checking Bella Sprinter. Billy's On Fire checked off Bella Sprinter approaching the home turn. Billy's On Fire checked off Bella Sprinter entering the home straight.

Bells Hustler was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness to the left back muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Shark Shadow, Valletta Knight and Golden Hand were slow to begin. Trictonite crossed to the rail on the first turn, severely checking Where's Crocky, Trictonite, Shark Shadow, Champagne Dreams and causing Where's Crocky and Trictonite to fall as a result.

Where's Crocky was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fractured right radius and was humanely euthanised.

Trictonite was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness to the left wrist, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Subsequent to the event, Mr C. Debono (Attendant of Champagne Dreams) relinquished his Attendant's licence to Stewards. Pursuant to LLR11.4 Stewards proceeded to cancel Mr Debono's registration from that time.

Miss Ainsleigh, Diablo Keroma and Suspicious Tessa were slow to begin. Feen Dish and Elfie collided approaching the first turn. Arvo's Joy and Gospel Lass collided approaching the first turn, checking Arvo's Joy. Black Arora checked off Gospel Lass approaching the first turn. Arvo's Joy and Suspicious Tessa collided approaching the home turn, checking Arvo's Joy. Suspicious Tessa and Black Arora collided entering the home straight.
