Eaglehawk Yap and Tredgar were slow to begin and collided soon after the start checking Eaglehawk Yap. Bella Bullet and Dortmunder collided approaching the first turn checking Dortmunder. Tredgar, Download and Diamond Python collided on the first turn checking Download and Tredgar. Tredgar checked off Honey Girl in the home straight. Diamond Python and Bella Bullet collided several times in the home straight. 

Eaglehawk Yap was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury. 

Bella Bullet was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury.

Stewards issued a warning to Mr. S. Bauer, the trainer of Bella Bullet regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight.

Stewards spoke to Ms. G. Saunders, the trainer of the greyhound Diamond Python regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Diamond Python was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained spike wounds to the right hind toe, no stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Diamond Python with failing to pursue the lure with dure commitment (by reason of injury). Ms. G. Saunders pleaded guilty to the charge, Diamond Python was found guily and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.

Big Barking Bert and Demon Eyes were slow to begin.

Yeah Whatever, Black Tikka and Blink collided soon after the start. Black Tikka, Yeah Whatever and Demon Eyes collided approaching the first turn checking Black Tikka and severely checking Yeah Whatever and Demon Eyes, Yeah Whatever fell as a result. El Carado checked off Blink approaching the home turn. Influential Miss raced wide in the home straight. 

Yeah Whatever was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left triceps, right wrist and right hind. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. 

Blink was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained severe cyanosis and hyperthermia post race. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. 

Stewards spoke to Mr. P. Thomson, the trainer of Blink and advised him that acting in accordance with GAR 74, Stewards direct that Blink must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Mordor Bale and Adara Lad collided soon after the start checking Adara Lad. Live To Dream and Ricardo Bale collided approaching the first turn checking Ricardo Bale and Adara Lad. Taxi and Miss Marwin collided collided several times in the home straight. Live To Dream and Mordor Bale collided in the home straight. Ricardo Bale and Oakmont Octum collided in the home straight. 

Miss Marwin was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury. 

Stewards spoke to Mr. D. Trewin the handler of the greyhound Miss Marwin. Stewards deemed the performance of Miss Marwin unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Miss Marwin must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.

J. Galea, trainer of Sisco Good redeclared a new weight of 32.9kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Sisco Good last raced at 31.0kg.

Bottom Dollar, Unix Bale and Cool Mikado were slow to begin. 

Go Sniper and Unix Bale collided soon after the start checking Unix Bale. Bottom Dollar checked off Turbo Norris approaching the home turn checking Dyna Alcehmist. 

Lazza Mikado was slow to begin.

Becci Leone and Nicki Fields collided on the first turn. Miss Monteya and Dynamo's Miss collided approaching the second turn. Nicki Fields checked off Becci Leone on the second turn. Becci Leone and Feikuai Polly collided in the back straight checking Becci Leone. Miss Monteya and Dynamo's Miss collided on the third turn checking Dynamo's Miss. Miss Monteya and Soul Dancer collided approaching the home turn severely checking Miss Monteya, Miss Monteya fell and checked Lazza Mikado as a result.

Hunter Rocks, Skyfire, Got The Picture, Rumero Reason, Crackerjack Babe, Julie Bale and Hashtag Jordan collided approachng the first turn checking Hunter Rocks, Hashtag Jordan, Julie Bale, Skyfire, Got The Picture and Rumero Reason. Hunter Rocks and Hashtag Jordan collided in the back straight severely checking Hunter Rocks. Rumero Reason and Hashtag Jordan collided approaching the second turn checking Hashtag Jordan and Skyfire. Skyfire, Got The Picture and Hashtag Jordan collided on the second turn severely checking Hunter Rocks, Skyfire, Got The Picture and Hashtag Jordan, Hashtag Jordan fell as a result. Hashtag Jordan was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the left hind toe. No stand down period was imposed. 

Flying Casey was quick to begin.

Punk Pirate, Empire Allen and Size Does Matter collided several times approaching the first turn. Caustic Bale crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Punk Pirate, Empire Allen and Size Does Matter. Mystique Speedy was a late scratching at 6.03p.m.on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to illness. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Midnight Ride was quick to begin. Hakata Bale was slow to begin. 

Hakata Bale checked off Jukebox Hero soon after the start. Jukebox Hero and Little Ginny collided approaching the first turn checking Jukebox Hero. Hakata Bale checked off Little Ginny on the first turn. Grand Slam Diva raced wide on the home turn. 

Jukebox Hero was vetted and revetted following race 11. It was reported that there was no apparent injury.

Stewards spoke to Mr. J. Collins, the handler of the greyhound Phaser Bale regarding the greyhound's performance over the concluding stages of the event. Mr. Collins advised Stewards that it was the greyhound's second start over the 450m and in his opinion the greyhound may not be suited to this distance at this point in time. Stewards noted his explanation.
