Steward's Report

Mr. L. Mitchell, trainer of Max Mantle redeclared a new weight of 34.0kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Max Mantle last raced at 35.7kgs.

Max Mantle was inspected by the Club's Veterinary Surgeon prior to the event and passed fit to race.

Forbidden Planet and Bull Elephant were slow to begin.  Che Road turned in the boxes and was very slow to begin (15 lengths).  Lizzibee, Jordy's Girl, Hoi Polloi and Max Mantle collided approaching the first turn checking Jordy's Girl and Max Mantle.  Hoi Polloi checked off Lizzibee on the first turn severely checking Forbidden Planet, Jordy's Girl and Max Mantle. 

Max Mantle was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to it's right thigh and a dropped right back muscle.  A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Che Road was vetted followng the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards established that Che Road turned in the boxes.  Acting under GAR 52(1) Che Road was placed on a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks).
