Mr. I. Chircop, trainer of Eumeralla Dessy redeclared a new weight of 31.2 kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Eumeralla Dessy last raced at 29.9kgs.

Mr. S. Collyer was fined the sum of $50 for his failure to produce the registration card for the greyhound Twelve Steps pursuant to GAR 33.

Roxy Pop, Eumeralla Dessy and Kuschy's Krypto were slow to begin.  Twelve Steps, Somebody's Image, Totes Amazeballs and Slipaway Anna collided soon after the start checking Twelve Steps, Somebody's Image and Totes Amazeballs.  Twelve Steps checked off Totes Amazeballs approaching the first turn.  Slipaway Anna, Roxy Pop and Eumeralla Dessy collided on the first turn checking Roxy Pop.  Twelve Steps and Roxy Pop collided on the home turn checking Roxy Pop.  Twelve Steps, Somebody's Image and Kuschy's Krypto raced wide on the home turn.  Totes Amazeballs and Eumeralla Dessy collided in the home straight.  Totes Amazeballs and Sweet Little Lie collided in the home straight checking Sweet Little Lie. 

Sweet Little Lie, which tired over the concluding stages of the event was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to it's right shoulder and left hip.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Vasile Boy and All Vapour were slow to begin.  Jukebox Hero, Hotlips Matilda, One Mid, Jades Inc and Ladies Kay collided soon after the start checking Hotlips Matilda, One Mid and Jades Inc.  Hotlips Matilda, One Mid and Jades Inc collided on the first turn checking One Mid and Jades Inc.  Ladies Kay clipped the heels of Jukebox Hero on the first turn checking Ladies Kay.  Jukebox Hero and Ladies Kay collided approaching the home turn checking Jukebox Hero and All Vapour.  Vasile Boy and Ladies Kay collided on the home turn checking Ladies Kay.  Jades Inc faltered on the home turn and lost ground as a result.  Ladies Kay checked off Vasile Boy in the home straight checking All Vapour.

Jades Inc was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to it's right hip.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Mr. L. Mitchell, trainer of Max Mantle redeclared a new weight of 34.0kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Max Mantle last raced at 35.7kgs.

Max Mantle was inspected by the Club's Veterinary Surgeon prior to the event and passed fit to race.

Forbidden Planet and Bull Elephant were slow to begin.  Che Road turned in the boxes and was very slow to begin (15 lengths).  Lizzibee, Jordy's Girl, Hoi Polloi and Max Mantle collided approaching the first turn checking Jordy's Girl and Max Mantle.  Hoi Polloi checked off Lizzibee on the first turn severely checking Forbidden Planet, Jordy's Girl and Max Mantle. 

Max Mantle was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to it's right thigh and a dropped right back muscle.  A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Che Road was vetted followng the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards established that Che Road turned in the boxes.  Acting under GAR 52(1) Che Road was placed on a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks).

A pre-race sample was taken from Calippo Man.

Calippo Man, Kay Cee Smack and Bazzagrey were slow to begin.  Kay Cee Smack and Bazzagrey collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds.  Taminick Girl, Calippo Man and Damn Nuisance collided approaching the first turn checking Taminick Girl, Damn Nuisance and Kay Cee Smack.  Railway Conder checked off Van Ghosting on the first turn and collided with Calippo Man; Damn Nuisance raced wide as a result.  Damn Nuisance and Calippo Man collided approaching the home turn.  Uncool Albert raced wide entering the home straight.  Calippo Man checked off Railway Conder in the home straight checking Damn Nuisance.  Bazzagrey raced wide approaching the winning post.

Ceejay Whim and Lioness Lulu collided soon after the start.  Barbie Boy, Topeka and He's No Jet collided soon after the start checking Topeka and causing Barbie Boy to stumble and lose considerable ground as a result.  Ceejay Whim, Flossy Thelly, Topeka and Soho Dingane collided on the first turn checking Flossy Thelly, Soho Dingane and Topeka.  Soho Dingane checked off Flossy Thelly entering the back straight.  Lioness Lulu checked off Speed Chill in the back straight.  Ceejay Whim and Lioness Lulu collided on the second turn checking Ceejay Whim.

Soho Dingane was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Barbie Boy was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to it's right shoulder.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Miner Rush checked off Dyna Revy soon after the start and collided with How Time Fly's as a result.  Dyna Revy and Jack's Prince collided approaching the first turn.  Spyware and Run Right Back collided on the first turn.  Jack's Prince and Cruisen Billy collided on the first turn checking Jack's Prince, How Time Fly's, Jeremey Rent and Miner Rush.  Jack's Prince and Cruisen Billy raced wide entering the home straight.

Cosmic Daicos and Em Jo Lew were slow to begin.  Wizard Of Offaly was very slow to begin (3 lengths).  Home You Go checked off Jet Mikado approaching the first turn, collided with Broad Betty and Em Jo Lew, checking Cosmic Daicos and Broad Betty and severely checking Em Jo Lew; Home You Go faltered and tailed off as a result.  Cosmic Daicos raced wide entering the home straight.

Home You Go was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to it's right shoulder, right thigh and pencil muscle.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Em Jo Lew was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Lone Survivor and Prancing Lad were slow to begin.  Lone Survivor checked off Mr. Genetic soon after the start.  Wally Matuszek, Crowdza Talking and Decta collided on the first turn checking Decta and Prancing Lad and severely checking Mr. Genetic and Crowdza Talking.

Onyx Black was a late scratching at 8:37am due to illness (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.

Shachar Magic and My Bobby Boy were slow to begin.  Diablo's Angel checked off Hilldene Dancer approaching the first turn.  Hilldene Dancer checked off Lektra Vision approaching the home turn checking Just Dee Patient and My Bobby Boy; My Bobby Boy raced wide as a result.  Just Dee Patient and Hilldene Dancer collided on the home turn.  Uncontrollable and My Bobby Boy raced wide entering the home straight.

Prince Shak was quick to begin.  Eumeralla Danny, Looney Lucy, Don's Legend and Riddle Me Lad collided soon after the start checking Eumeralla Danny and Riddle Me Lad.  High Alimony checked off Looney Lucy soon after the start.  High Alimony, Eumeralla Danny and Riddle Me Lad collided approaching the first turn severely checking High Alimony.  Buzz Cutter, Looney Lucy and Don's Legend collided approaching the home turn checking Looney Lucy, Don's Legend and Eumeralla Danny and severely checking Buzz Cutter.  Riddle Me Lad and Don's Legend collided on the home turn checking Don's Legend which raced wide as a result.  Renewable Energy and High Alimony collided on the home turn checking High Alimony.  Buzz Cutter and Don's Legend raced wide in the home straight.

Weight Trial - Buckle Up Nikki trailled over the 390 metre distance from box 1, weight 30.5kgs.  The greyhound was placed 2nd, in a field of 2.  The time of the trial was 22.08.  The greyhound was beaten by a margin of 6.5 lengths.  Buckle Up Nikki was cleared.

Sunset Magic trialled over the 450 metre distance from box 1, weight 36.2kgs.  The greyhound was placed 3rd, in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 25.15.  The greyhound was beaten by a margin of 12 lengths.  Sunset Magic was cleared.
