Magic Hondo, Hornsey's Angel and Miss Miyake collided approaching the first turn checking Hornsey's Angel and Miss Miyake. Manny To Excel and Ledaro Mills collided on the first turn checking Ledaro Mills and causing Domain Road to gallop on the heels of Ledaro Mills severely checking both greyhounds. Hornsey's Angel and Miss Miyake collided entering the home straight. Ledaro Mills raced wide in the home straight.
Hornsey's Angel was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury.
Domain Road was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left triceps. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
