Snap On and Like James were quick to begin. Surgeon's Touch and Darbain Dasher were slow to begin.
Bombastic Knight and Kobuta collided soon after the start checking Kobuta. Snap On, Like James and Go Jetta Go collided on the first turn checking Snap On and Like James. Go Cette crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Surgeon's Touch and Darbain Dasher. Snap On and Bombastic Knight collided on the second turn checking Snap On. Darbain Dasher and Surgeon's Touch collided several times approaching the home turn. Snap On raced wide in the home straight.
