Steward's Report
Bally Lee and Surgeon's Touch were slow to begin.
Darbain Dasher checked off Go Jetta Go soon after the start. Snap On crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Like James, Dargo Street, Darbain Dasher, Go Jetta Go and Parwan Girl. Go Jetta Go and Parwan Girl collided entering the back straight checking Parwan Girl. Dargo Street and Like James collided on the first turn checking Dargo Street. Parwan Girl checked off Bally Lee entering the home straight. Like James checked off Darbain Dasher in the home straight checking Like James which then collided with Go Jetta Go.
Dargo street was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injuries to the pencil muscles and the left tricep. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to trainer Mr. J. Pace regarding the direction that the greyhound Like James be boxed first. Acting under GAR52(2) Stewards directed that this box first be removed.
