Ali Barber crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Parallax, Lizooka, Talkin' Riddles, Corowa Kid, Whodat Dude, Whatta Brew and Rowena Ravenclaw. Corowa Kid and Parallax collided approaching the first turn checking Parallax, Talkin' Riddles and Whatta Brew. Whatta Brew raced wide approaching the home turn. Whodat Dude galloped on the heels of Talkin' Riddles on the home turn severely checking Talkin' Riddles and Lizzoka which stumbled and severely checking Whodat Dude and Parallax which fell.
Whodat Dude was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury.
