Betty's Return checked off Solar Agent soon after the start. Cheap Champ, Ecliptic and Urana Galore collided on the first turn checking Urana Galore and Ecliptic. Betty's Return checked off Ecliptic entering the back straight. Urana Galore and Ecliptic collided in the back straight. Ecliptic raced wide in the home straight.
Ecliptic was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left hamstring and both triceps. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
