A pre-race urine sample was taken from Just Divine.
Bebop Jazz was quick to begin.
Just Divine (checked and lost ground turning out of the front straight) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right monkey muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Fill Your Boots (visibly eased in the home straight) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the left fore. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr. David Crawford regarding Fill Your Boot's racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124, Fill Your Boots was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Crawford pleaded guilty to the charge. Fill Your Boots was suspended for 28 days (1st offence) at Sandown and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
