Steward's Report
Ulna – Late scratching at 9:53am on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 92) due to a sesamoid injury on the left fore. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Crackerjack Jet - New declared weight of 31.9kg, last raced at 30.3kg.
A pre-race urine sample was taken from Reverse Sweep.
Fibularis was slow to begin.
Bumpy's Dad Roy attempted to shift out on multiple occasions in-running. Stewards spoke to Mr. Gary Cowcher regarding the racing manners of Bumpy's Dad Roy. After hearing submissions from Mr. Cowcher, viewing the available race footage, and having their own observations, Stewards took no further action.
Stewards conferred with the judges regarding the margin and finishing times for 2nd place between Fibularis and Bumpy's Dad Roy. A margin was visible in the photo finish image with the actual finishing time for Fibularis being 16.8335 compared to 16.8340 for Bumpy's Dad Roy. However, as FastTrack is limited to displaying three decimal places, both times were automatically rounded to 16.834, and as such no margin is displayed in FastTrack.
