Steward's Report
The start was delayed by approximately three minutes due to operational activities.
Ivory Narwhal was slow to begin.
Talk Is Cheap raced ungenerously and shifted out on multiple occasions between the 200m and 100m markers before ultimately colliding with Sailaway Gin. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a right long head triceps muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Kennel Represenative Mr. Martin Galea regarding the racing manners of Talk Is Cheap. After hearing submissions from Mr. Galea, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, a warning was issued.
