Steward's Report
For Pete's Sake, Crimson Kit and Giacomo were slow to begin.
Giacomo (checked and lost ground turning into the home straight) underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Mr. Vincent Borg, the representative of Giacomo, after Mr. Borg left the course today without the permission of Stewards and without initially having the greyhound examined by the On-Track Veterinarian following the event. Ms. Angela Langton returned to course with Giacomo, and completed those requirements. Mr. Borg was issued with a warning pursuant to GAR 94(2).
A post race urine sample was taken from Dash Of Whisky - the winner of the event.
