Steward's Report
Spencer was quick to begin. Paw Ernest and Aston Lord were slow to begin.
Aston Lord (faltered and tailed off entering the back straight) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left back muscle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Pursuant to GAR 122, the Stewards requested Kennel representative Ms M.Mallia to report as soon as practicable anything that may have affected the running of Aston Lord in the event, which was not noted by Stewards during or immediately after the event.
A post–race blood and urine sample was taken from Giacomo – winner of the event.
A post–race urine sample was taken from Raven Peter– placed 2nd in the event.
