Steward's Report
A pre-race urine sample was taken from Paw Trina.
Paw Ignite was slow to begin.
Paw Trinny, Paw Trina, Paw Waitara and Zero Predator raced wide in the home straight.
Paw Ultron was checked multiple times in the back straight, stumbled turning off the back straight and lost significant ground in the home straight. Paw Ultron underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 5. Paw Ultron was found to have a right back muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke with Kennel Representative Ms. Rickii Lee Church regarding the greyhound's overall performance in the event. Taking into the account the injury sustained and the significant interference suffered, Stewards took no further action.
