Steward's Report
Chain Drive – Late scratching at 11:06am with Stewards Permission (non-penalty), pursuant to GAR 19(4)(b).
A urine sample was taken from Killer Bee Cammy upon arrival at the course.
Killer Bee Cammy, Ulna and Cherry Red were quick to begin.
Pat Penny (turned its head inwards in the home straight) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion. No stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr. Donald Jarvis regarding Pat Penny's racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124, Pat Penny was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Jarvis reserved his plea to the charge. Pat Penny was found guilty and suspended for 28 days (2nd offence) at all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
