Steward's Report
Pursuant to GAR 75(6), Kennel attendant Ms. Amber Manning did not act in any official capacity that may have in any way affected the outcome of this event.
Due to a technical malfunction there was no head on vision available for the home straight.
One Hand Clap [eased turning off the back straight] underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have no apparent injury. Ms. Jordan McQuillen declined the option to have the greyhound re–examined. Stewards spoke to Ms. McQuillen regarding One Hand Clap’s racing manners turning off the back straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124, One Hand Clap was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Ms. McQuillen pleaded guilty to the charge. One Hand Clap was suspended for 28 days (1st offence) at Bendigo and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
