Steward's Report
Oregon Hutan and Saint Nifty were quick to begin. Fleetwood Odin was slow to begin.
Oregon Hutan (severely checked and fell on the first turn) underwent a post–race veterinary examination - no apparent injury reported.
La Bella Mikado (severely checked and lost ground on the first turn) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to trainer Mr. Sheldon Hamilton regarding the difficulty in boxing Sir Whip in this event. A warning was issued pursuant to GAR 106(2) and Stewards will continue to monitor the box manners of Sir Whip at future starts.
