Steward's Report
A pre-race urine sample was taken from Mackinaw Peach.
Warm Cockles, Aston Lord and Cain Bale were slow to begin.
Warm Cockles and Aston Lord collided entering the catching pen, causing Warm Cockles to fall and checking Aston Lord. Both greyhounds subsequently underwent post-race veterinary examinations:
- Aston Lord was found to have right hock sprain. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
- Warm Cockles had no apparent injury at the time of examination.
