Steward's Report
Magic Dark Star was quick to begin. Hello Pa and Vista Argon were slow to begin.
Five Crowns (checked and lost ground on the first turn) underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.
A post–race urine sample was taken from Vista Cadmium – the winner of the event.
Stewards spoke to trainer Mr. David Burnett regarding Hello Pa’s racing manners approaching the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123, Hello Pa was charged with marring. Mr. Burnett pleaded not guilty to the charge. Hello Pa was found guilty and suspended for 28 days (1st offence) at Meadows and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
