Steward's Report
Poholke was quick to begin. Vega Black and Raya Star was slow to begin.
Poholke (visibly eased in the back straight) underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Mr. Paul Abela regarding Poholke’s racing manners in the back straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124, Poholke was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Abela pleaded guilty to the charge. Poholke was suspended for 28 days (2nd offence) at all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
