Steward's Report
Our Kite Flyer, Bernie Burrow and Blue Blood were slow to begin.
Bernie Burrow (performed below market expectations) underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to kennel representative Mr. Luke Thompson who advised that he believed Bernie Burrow's performance in today's event could be attributed to the greyhound beginning slowly and finding trouble during the run. Stewards noted this explanation.
Post–race urine samples were taken from Blue Blood (1st) and Flaming Fox (2nd).
