Steward's Report
Especial Speed – Late scratching at 10:41am due to weight variation (GAR 101). Especial Speed is not permitted to compete for 10 days in any other Event. Trainer, Mr. Peter Knott was fined $100.
Rear View Mirror, Rojo Silver Fox and Tomida were slow to begin.
Stewards conferred with the judges regarding the margin and finishing times for second place between Major China and Inter Buzz Along. A margin was visible in the photo finish image with the actual finishing time for Major China being 19.4241 compared to 19.4244 for Inter Buzz Along. However, as FastTrack is limited to displaying three decimal places, both times were automatically rounded to 19.424, and as such no margin is displayed in FastTrack.
