Pretty Pipa and Ultimate Lexi were quick to begin. Miss Your Kiss, Are You Okay and Hurricane Micsha were slow to begin.

Hurricane Lucy was severely checked on the first turn and subsequently lost ground, underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.

Cinnamon Star and Lilly Octane were slow to begin.

Lilly Octane, underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Mr. Robert Colpoys regarding Lilly Octane’s racing manners in entering the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123, Lilly Octane was charged with marring. Mr. Colpoys pleaded guilty to the charge. Lilly Octane was suspended for 28 days (1st offence) at Warragul and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted. 

A post–race urine sample was taken from No Iron Team – the winner of the event.

The judge semaphored the incorrect numbers of 6 - 8 - 1 - 4. This was corrected to 6 - 8 - 1 - 2 before the All Clear was given.

Spirit Of Duke went up with the lid and was quick to begin. Izakaya Lad was slow to begin.

A post–race urine sample was taken from Black Tycoon – the winner of the event.

A urine sample was taken from Audacious Rachel upon arrival at the course.

Audacious Rachel and Blue Chaser were slow to begin.

Blue Chaser, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have cramped in the catching pen. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 19(3)(w) before any future nominations will be accepted.

A post–race urine sample was taken from Crypto Royalty – the winner of the event.

Mega Banjo Boy – Late scratching at 14:07 due to weight variation (GAR 101). Mega Banjo Boy is not permitted to compete for 10 days in any other Event. Trainer, Mr. William Dawes  was fined $100.

Bomber's Lady was slow to begin.

Mr. Luke Smith requested an early race endorsement for Bobby Baccala. Stewards approved the request after an extensive examination prior to racing by the On–Track Veterinarian. Bobby Baccala will compete in early races until further notice. 

Bingo Dash was quick to begin. Bobby Baccala,Easy Pie and Boston Dash were slow to begin.

Mayan Chief underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was re vetted after race 8 – no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Mr. Tony Cortese regarding Mayan Chief’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124, Mayan Chief was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Cortese pleaded not guilty to the charge. Mayan Chief was found guilty and suspended for 28 days(1st offence) at Warragul and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Como Prince was quick to begin. Soda Diesel, Alcaraz and Balanced were slow to begin.

Como Prince was severely checked on the first turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the left wrist. No stand down period was imposed.

Atomic Secret lost ground in the home straight, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hindleg triangle injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
