Meeting Comments:
The closing time of kennelling was altered in accordance with GAR 86 due to the late arrival of trainer Mr. Malcolm Davis who experienced a vehicle breakdown en route to the track. As a result, the kennels closed at 2:04pm.
Stewards noted that there was no back straight head-on vision available for the entirety of today's meeting.

Chappy's Thief (performed below market expectations) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle muscle injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards questioned Mr. Bradley Chapman, the kennel representative for Chappy's Thief, after the greyhound led early before finishing unplaced in the event. Stewards noted Mr. Chapman's comments and directed that a urine sample be taken from the greyhound.
