Miss Your Kiss – Late scratching at 6:10pm due to non–arrival (GAR 86 and LR 39). Due to the circumstances surrounding the non–presentation, handler Ms. Nadine Jack was fined $250.

Odysseus Bale went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin.

Odysseus Bale (vomited post-race) underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Aussie Can (turned head outwards turning out of the the back straight) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left sesamoid injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr. Neville Bischard regarding Aussie Can’s racing manners. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124, Aussie Can was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Bischard pleaded guilty to the charge. Aussie Can was suspended for 28 days (2nd offence) at all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Paw Waitara (turned head outwards on the first turn) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left back muscle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to kennel representative Mr. Jordan Bryce regarding Paw Waitara’s racing manners. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Paw Waitara was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Bryce pleaded guilty to the charge. Paw Waitara must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Stewards noted that Aussie Can and Paw Waitara fell turning out of the back straight.
