Steward's Report
Doctor Minty – Late scratching at 7:52am when Ms Jennifer Gill reported the greyhound to have ilness infection (GAR 76). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 19(3)(w) before any future nominations will be accepted. Stewards spoke to Ms. Jennifer Gill in relation to the bona fides of the withdrawal of Doctor Minty from this race. Ms. Gill's comments were noted.
Dr. Erica and Mally Boy were quick to begin.
Lakeview Deceah was severely checked in the back straight and underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.
Western Bale underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.
