Steward's Report
Man Of Action – Late scratching at 2:12pm due to weight variation (GAR 101). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer, Mr Jack Clarke was fined $100.
A pre–race sample was taken from Hillbilly Lexi.
Mo City (racing manners in the home straight), underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was re–examined following race 6. Mo City was found to have a whip injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to representative Mr Bruce Jacobs regarding Mo City’s racing manners In the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Mo City was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Jacobs pleaded guilty to the charge. Mo City must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
