Black Snip was slow out. Cudgee Miss, Edinburgh Logan and Sky High Jye collided soon after the start checking Mia Prize, Edinburgh Logan and Sky High Jye. Scenic Embrace crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Mia Prize and Cudgee Miss. Sky High Jye faltered approaching the first turn and pulled up as a result. Mia Prize, Cudgee Miss and Edinburgh Logan collided on the first turn checking Edinburgh Logan. Scenic Embrace, Pure Artemis and Wish Of Wisdom collided on the first turn checking Scenic Embrace and Pure Artemis. Cudgee Miss and Edinburgh Logan collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn.
Sky High Jye was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right metacarpal, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.
