Hold On Senator was quick to begin. Belron Bingle was slow to begin. Belron Bingle stumbled at box rise and was slow out. Birthday Bonus, Bo Wilfred and My Girl Scarlett collided soon after the start. Bo Wilfred, Birthday Bonus, Daring Escape, Belron Bingle and Marine Girl collided approaching the first turn checking Belron Bingle and Daring Escape. Daring Escape and Marine Girl collided on the first turn. Belron Bingle checked off the heels of Marine Girl on the second turn. Hold On Senator and Birthday Bonus collided on the third turn checking Hold On Senator. Bo Wilfred eased approaching the winning post.
Bo Wilfred was vetted and revetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury.
Anesthetist was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury.
Acting under GAR 69(1)(b) Stewards charged Bo Wilfred with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment and suspended the greyhound for 28 days at Cranbourne and directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial, pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
