Steward's Report
Pre race samples were taken from Salty Martini unplaced in the event.
Nuvola was quick to begin. Karlena's Chill and Edithtail Tiger were slow to begin. Nuvola crossed to the outside soon after the start checking Salty Martini, Kid Kiddo, Zarbility, Karlena's Chill and severely checking Magic's In Me which stumbled. Salty Martini and Kid Kiddo collided approaching the first turn. Nuvola and El Drago Spear raced wide on the first turn. Nuvola and El Drago Spear collided approaching the home turn checking Nuvola. Edithtail Tiger and Salty Martini collided in the home straight checking Salty Martini.
Magic's In Me was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left calf and right triangle injury, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Karlena's Chill was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left shoulder injury, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
