Steward's Report
Zonin was quick to begin. Glenavon Robin was slow to begin. Neon Fortune and Felix Felicis collided soon after the start. Neon Fortune and Secret Ricky collided approaching the first turn checking Felix Felicis which stumbled as a result. Mister Curtis and Jackknife collided on the first turn checking Neon Fortune. Neon Fortune and Glenavon Robin collided approaching the second turn checking Neon Fortune. Glenavon Robin and Secret Ricky collided in the back straight. Jackknife and Squeeky Taylor collided on the home turn checking Mister Curtis. Felix Felicis clipped the heels of Secret Ricky on the home turn. Secret Ricky eased in the home straight and collided with Mister Curtis.
Secret Ricky was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left wrist injury, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to the handler of Secret Ricky, Mr.A.Karabitsakos and issued a warning regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight.
Stewards deemed the performance of Secret Ricky unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Secret Ricky must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
