Postage Due was slow out. Ashton's Girl was checked soon after the start. Go Thomas checked off the heels of Superbad approaching the first turn, checking Superbad. Postage Due checked off the heels of Tony's Folly on the first turn, checking Tony's Folly. Tony's Folly checked off the heels of Go Thomas approaching the home turn. Racy Ripa checked off the heels of Excella Bale entering the home straight. Ashton's Girl faltered in the home straight losing ground as a result.
Ashton's Girl was vetted and was found to be injured in the right tricep and monkey muscle, and will stand down from racing for a period of 14 days.
