Van Der Boss was slow out. Windermere Echo and Bourne Fortune collided soon after the start. Tangles Spirit, Magical and Bold Mover collided on the first turn checking Magical and Bold Mover. Crazy William checked off the heels of Magical on the first turn checking Crazy William, Magical and Van Der Boss. Magical and Bold Mover collided approaching the second turn checking both greyhounds. Crazy William checked off the heels of Bold Mover on the second turn. Magical and Bold Mover collided entering the back straight checking Bold Mover. Magical and Van Der Boss collided several times on the third turn.
