Pure Flash was slow out.
Pucker Up crossed to the rails soon after the start checking Exford Fury, Ebony Virus and Armelle. Ebony Virus galloped on the heels of Armelle approaching the first turn severely checking both greyhounds, Armelle stumbled as a result. Red Apache raced wide approaching the home turn and again in the home straight.
Ebony Virus was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury.
Red Apache was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left shoulder and left knee. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Armelle was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left coupling. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
