Steward's Report
A pre race sample was taken from Spitfire Shiraz - the winner of the event.
Atlas Supreme was slow out. Bullbar Toots and Moo collided soon after the start. Bluey's Joy, Spitfire Shiraz and Ate Teen Bucks collided on the first turn checking Bluey's Joy and severely checking Ate Teen Bucks. Bullbar Toots checked off Lisbon Tomato in the home straight. Atlas Supreme and Lisbon Tomato collided in the home straight. Bullbar Toots and Spitfire Shiraz collided in the home straight. Bluey's Joy raced wide in the home straight.
Bullbar Toots was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound received cuts to the left and right wrists and right foot, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
