Night Star crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Dylis Bale and No More Express. Dylis Bale checked off Dark Omen on the first turn checking No More Express. Night Star and Jesta Mahte collided approaching the home turn severely checking Night Star, which stumbled as a result. Remo Rio and No More Express collided approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds. No More Express and Dirty Princess collided on the home turn and again in the home straight. Night Star checked off Uncut Gem in the home straight.
Dylis Bale was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right hock injury, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
