Top End Mate was a late scratching at 7:36am due to illness.
Fang And George went up with the lids at box rise and was slow out as a result. Lifes For Living and Vapour Lock collided soon after the start checking Vapour Lock. Token Whirl and Hall Dancer collided soon after the start. Fang And George and Vapour Lock collided approaching the first turn. Emmdale checked off the heels of Hall Dancer on the first turn and collided with Vapour Lock. Token Whirl raced wide in the home straight. Hall Dancer and Barker's Rumor collided approaching the winning post.
Emmdale was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the right hind Leg. No stand down penalty applied.
