Spotted Ned was slow out. Little Ritzaar went up with the lids at box rise and was slow out as a result. Without Warning and Rippon collided soon after the start. Ain't No Star, Joot Cha Nuaan and Pure Bullicourt collided on the first turn. Nick's My Mate crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Spotted Ned, Without Warning and Rippon. Nick's My Mate brushed the running rail approaching the home turn. Spotted Ned and Nick's My Mate collided in the home straight. Rippon and Little Ritzaar collided in the home straight.
