Steward's Report
Rocky, Wave To Tammy and Triple Trio were slow out. Wave To Tammy and Triple Trio collided approaching the first turn. Triple Trio checked off the heels of Wave To Tammy on the first turn. Wave To Tammy checked off the heels of Jacarrest on the first turn. Grecian Art checked off the heels of Rich Chick approaching the second turn checking Rocky and Royal Riddle. Wave To Tammy checked off the heels of Royal Riddle on the second turn checking Grecian Art. Rich Chick and Jacarrest collided on the second turn and again entering the front straight. Royal Riddle and Jacarrest collided on the third turn checking Jacarrest. Grecian Art and Rocky collided on the third turn. Triple Trio checked off the heels of Jacarrest approaching the fourth turn. Wave To Tammy and Triple Trio collided on the home turn.
Swab samples were taken from the placegetters - Jacarrest (1st), Springvale Lucy (2nd) and Royal Riddle (3rd).
Royal Riddle was also vetted following the Event and Dr. Michael Bell, the Club's Veterinary Surgeon, reported that the greyhound sustained a small cut to the left hind toe. No stand down penalty was applied due to the minor extent of the wound.
